California Institute of the Arts (이하 칼아츠)에 재학 중인 한인 유학생
아티스트들의 각기 다른 예술적 특성을 지닌 작품들을 보다 널리 알리고자 기획되었습니다.

<Kaleidoscope;파편>은 조각조각 흩어진 다양한 한인 유학생 아티스트들이 이 전시를 통해 한데 모여, 마치 만화경처럼 다채롭고 아름다운 예술적
풍경을 함께 만들어 나간다는 의미를 담고 있습니다.

The 2025 Exhibition by CalArts UKAL, , will be held from 04.18 to 04.20. This exhibition was organized to showcase the works of Korean international student artists studying at CalArts, each with their unique artistic characteristics.

Symbolizes how diverse Korean international student artists, each like scattered fragments, come together through this exhibition to create a vibrant and beautiful artistic landscape—just like a kaleidoscope.

When misery goes beyond the point where a human body and soul can endure, people entrusts themselves in the hands of a transcendental being—the divine or destiny. Though the mind knows that it is no reasonable belief, in the state of vulnerability, they seek salvation from the divine, grasping the hand of the invisible Losing their sense of self, their surrender bears resignation. Then further and further, drifts away from the reality.

도저히 인간의 힘으로는 이해할 수도, 감당할 수도 없는 불행이 닥쳐오면 사람은 초월적인 존재-운명 또는 신이 그들의 인생을 믿게 된다. 이성적이지 않다는 것을 알면서도, 초월자의 구원을 믿으며 보이지 않는 손을 붙잡는다. 더 이상
손 쓸 수 없는 상황에서 태어난 무력감은 단념으로 이어지고, 점차 현실과 멀어져 간다.
